If you’re missing multiple teeth, there are a number of options available.
Multiple Dental Implants
If you have several teeth missing, but they’re not next to each other, the best plan might be to have a number of single tooth implants placed. We offer affordable dental implants, starting at just $2,495 for single tooth implants.
Dental Implants Supporting A Bridge
Dental implants can be used to support a permanent, fixed dental bridge. If you’re missing three teeth in a row, as an example, a bridge could be made out of two implants and a crown, forming a 3-unit restoration. This option would be preferable to a removable partial, because it would be more comfortable, stable, and durable. It also would be a better choice than a multiple tooth-supported bridge, because these have a tendency to fail.
Dental Implants Supporting Dentures
Dentures can be attached to dental implants, in an all on 4 dental implant configuration, with 6-8 dental implants per arch, or through the use of mini dental implants. With these types of dentures, there’s no need to glue them in, no need to remove them for cleaning, and no need to worry about them slipping at just the wrong time. Also, because dental implants are fused to your jawbone, you’re less likely to lose bone, which can lead to facial disfiguration (a sunken look).
Removable dentures are always an option. These can be partial or full sets of dentures, for your upper or lower arches. Dentures are often the most affordable option, but many people try to avoid removable dentures because they don’t like they way they look, feel, or perform.
